Terry has a combined ability which uses limited telepathy and limited shape-changing abilities to allow him to change into the worst fear of those around him. He has learned to control this for use in therapy, can at this point choose which fear of several he wants to become either in a fight or for therapy, and doesn't generally use it except for a purpose. However, if he is caught too off-guard, injured, possessed, or otherwise loses his control, he may instinctively or without his control use his ability when he feels threatened or people are too afraid around him. His ability doesn't work at all on robots, or creatures incapable of feeling emotions - it does work on non-human creatures, robots capable of emotions, or people with suppressed emotions. If a character has fully faced, accepted, and dealt with their worst fears, then Trauma will still be able to turn into their worst fear, but they may not be affected by it, which will force him back to his default (human) form. What is this character's worst fear? Ivan feared/believed that he couldn't be a Hero as his NEXT power didn't seem helpful toward it, had low/no self-confidence, and had failed in helping his friend Edward when he needed it.

If I had to personify this into something that Terry can shapeshift too, it would be the older, no ponytail Edward being openly hostile to Ivan or a younger Ivan being very negative toward himself. (If those fit the mechanics of Terry's ability)

What is this character's worst fear? His worst fear is himself, what he really is, what he really looks like. "In his true form, Chimera is roughly six and a half feet tall, and possesses a monstrous appearance. His skin is blue and unhealthy looking, except where it transitions to fur for the lower legs of a gray wolf and the forearms of a grizzly bear. He also has the tail of a lion. His hair is long and purple, thick and wet like it’s soaked with sludge. It falls over his face and obscures most of it except for his bright blue eyes and shark toothed grin." Basically.

And of course Deadpool has telepathic immunity. I don't know how I remembered that for other posts when it was irrelevant, but not for this one. I guess it's what I get for doing things at 3am.

I'm guessing if he has telepathic immunity, he's probably immune to Trauma, because that's full on half of his ability. I don't THINK there's any examples of him using it on people with telepathic immunity (unless the Hulk has that, but I don't THINK he does?) so we can play it as Deadpool being immune if you'd like!

What is this character's worst fear? It's a monster that only he sees. I'm not sure how much Terry would learn of it and I've pretty much avoided saying it, but the monster is purely a hallucination. When I read the therapist part in Terry's app I had a little 'oh' moment. Luke's pretty much an undiagnosed schizophrenic. I'm not playing it entirely straight, but uh, I THOUGHT YOU SHOULD KNOW. Luke's pretty paranoid with people, so he keeps his hallucinations and delusions to himself. If you need a better description of the monster just tell me and I will link you to a picture and we can have a good laugh.

Ooooh, this is really interesting! If you're ever interested in doing anything with them, let me know, because I have been really interested in trying to corral together some patients for Trauma, and I really like the sound of Luke. (I was, in fact, trying to figure out a way to tag him, lol.)

SO. Yes. If you ever want to play through Trauma finding out somehow, I'd love for them to interact on that level!

I'd totally be interested in it! Luke'd probably be one very reluctant patient and hates shrinks, but I think he'd like Trauma once he got to know him. (And I'm sorry Luke's first post was an absolute snarkfest... I could always hit up Trauma's post if you want!)

I really like the idea of the trust-building that'd have to go on, even after Trauma found out. I'll just apologize now for him, because he really does do his best to make everything difficult.

Awesome. >D We should figure some plot out, and have them talk. The only reason I didn't tag Luke's is that it was posted pretty close to Terry's arrival (either right before or right after) and I wasn't sure if it'd make logistical sense. Or something. (Or I was possibly intimidated,this happens.)

Terry's pretty patient and I'm honestly really interested in the trust-building thing too. I think Trauma'd think he was an interesting project/patient, and he does tend to get very attached to the people he works with. And don't worry - Trauma's first patient was Abby, who was openly afraid of/disliked him, so he can work through a lot of trouble. And may or may not like/think he deserves it.

I'm so up for this. :D And, yeah, that's about the same reason I had. A little more on the worried about handling the tags I had. You don't get to be intimidated by me or Luke, though. :c

It's probably not a good thing in normal circumstances, but Luke'd probably end up pretty attached to. If he can trust Trauma enough to talk to him about the stuff he is most paranoid and insecure about, he'd be able to trust him with anything. But that's after he acts like a horrible and difficult for who knows how long. Nooo, Trauma. Noo. In the end, Luke'll try to make it all up to him.

What is this character's worst fear? Good question. For a long time she was afraid of her ex (Jack the Ripper) coming back. After she thought he was dead she was afraid of something happening to her daughter. Both of those have happened. She's still not really over either of them but it's something she tends to bury. So... /throws arms up
